Fun Eyeball Dig Halloween Game for Kids and Teens to Play
Gross out your friends with this slimy eyeball dig game – perfect for Halloween parties!
Our own summary of the original — the full post and photos live at kidfriendlythingstodo.com.
This game uses cooked spaghetti as 'brains' and hidden toy eyeballs. Players take turns blindfolded, digging through the slimy noodles to find as many eyeballs as they can in one minute. For more fun, set up team head-to-head rounds or use giant buckets for an extra-challenging version.
You'll need
Directions
- Cook at least 2 pounds of spaghetti noodles, drain them, and let them cool slightly. Keep 2 cups of warm water ready to add later if needed.
- Place the cooled spaghetti (the 'brains') into a large bucket, bowl, or inflatable pool. A big storage tub works great.
- Push 12 or more toy eyeballs deep into the spaghetti, hiding them throughout.
- Cover the playing surface with a plastic tablecloth and set the bowl on it.
- Blindfold each player with an eye mask or towel so they cannot see.
- Set a timer for 1 minute. Players dig through the spaghetti to find as many eyeballs as possible.
- After each turn, return the eyeballs to the bowl. If the spaghetti feels dry, add some of the reserved warm water to keep it moist.
- Let all players take turns until everyone has played. Keep a tally of how many eyeballs each player finds.
- The player with the highest number of eyeballs found in their minute wins the game.
- For a team variation: set up two or more bowls of spaghetti and eyeballs. Teams go head-to-head, each getting 1 minute per round.
- Teams can race to find all eyeballs first, or see which team collects the most in the time limit. Tally wins per round.
- For extra challenge, use two giant buckets each filled with about 10 pounds of spaghetti and many eyeballs. Teams compete to find all eyeballs first or have the most at the end.
