This fun and spooky game involves searching for toy eyeballs buried in a bowl of cold, wet spaghetti noodles. Players are blindfolded and have one minute to collect as many eyeballs as possible, with options for head-to-head competition or team play. Perfect for Halloween parties, it's easy to set up with simple materials like spaghetti, eyeballs, and a timer.

You'll need

Directions

  1. Fill a large bowl with cooked, drained spaghetti noodles (these represent brains).
  2. Bury the toy eyeballs deep into the spaghetti.
  3. When ready, place the bowl on a table covered with a plastic tablecloth.
  4. Blindfold each player with an eye mask or towel so they can't see.
  5. Set a timer for 1 minute.
  6. Players dig through the noodles to find as many eyeballs as they can within the time limit.
  7. After each round, return the eyeballs to the bowl and add more water if the noodles have dried out.
  8. Continue taking turns until every player has had a chance.
  9. Keep a tally; the player who collects the most eyeballs in their minute wins.
  10. For a head-to-head version, set up two or more bowls and let players compete simultaneously, still using 1-minute rounds.
  11. Teams can race to be the first to find all eyeballs, or see which team has the most when time expires.
  12. Track which team wins each round and add up the totals at the end.
  13. For an extra-challenging version, use two giant buckets or storage tubs with about 10 pounds of noodles and many eyeballs each.
  14. Teams race to find all eyeballs first or compete to have the most when time runs out.
