This tutorial shows you how to make a felt ghost puppet using a free pattern. You'll cut two felt pieces, sew them together, turn them, and add black felt eyes. The result is a friendly ghost puppet perfect for Halloween play.

Directions
- Begin by printing the free ghost puppet pattern from the provided link.
- Pin the pattern onto a sheet of white felt, then cut out the ghost shape. You'll need two identical pieces, one for each side of the puppet.
- Place the two felt pieces with their right sides facing each other. Sew around the entire ghost shape, leaving a small opening for turning. Use a 1/4-inch seam allowance and go slowly around curves to keep them smooth.
- After stitching, snip small notches into the seam allowance along all curved areas, especially at the inner corners where arms join the head. This prevents wrinkling when you flip it.
- Turn the puppet right side out using a wooden dowel or skewer, pushing gently into all the corners to fully shape them. Once turned, press the puppet with a warm iron, placing a cloth over the felt to protect it from melting.
- Cut two eye circles from black felt or iron-on vinyl. Position them on the ghost's face, then attach using fabric glue or by ironing the vinyl in place. Both methods give good results.
