Ingredients
Directions
- Prepare a baking sheet or tray by covering it with parchment or wax paper. Make sure your tray actually fits inside your refrigerator before you start.
- Chop the white chocolate into small pieces and put them in a microwave-safe bowl.
- Heat the chocolate in the microwave using 30-second intervals, stirring after each burst so it melts uniformly. Stop heating as soon as the chocolate is completely smooth and melted to avoid scorching.
- Act quickly: dip half of each dried apple ring into the melted white chocolate, covering just one side.
- Set each coated ring on the lined tray, and continue until you've dipped as many apple rings as you'd like.
- After all the apple rings are coated, press two candy eyeballs onto the chocolate-covered portion of each ring.
- Place the entire tray in the refrigerator for 10 to 15 minutes, until the chocolate has fully hardened.
- Gently remove each ghostly apple bite from the paper and serve right away on a plate or platter.
