Glow-in-the-Dark Pumpkins
Make your Halloween pumpkins glow with eerie elegance using glow-in-the-dark vinyl designs.
Our own summary of the original — the full post and photos live at apumpkinandaprincess.com.
This project uses glow-in-the-dark vinyl cut with a Cricut machine to create spooky pumpkin decorations. You'll choose and size designs, adjust cut settings for thick vinyl, and apply them with transfer tape. The result is a set of black pumpkins with glowing faces and words that stand out at night.
You'll need
Directions
- Choose designs from the Design Space library, like a pumpkin face from Monster Bash and a BOO from Holidays Through The Year. Resize them to fit your pumpkin (around 6 inches wide) and weld them together for easier cutting on the same mat.
- Cut the designs. You might need to set the cut dial deeper because the thick glow-in-the-dark vinyl didn't cut well on the default vinyl setting. Test a small scrap first.
- Peel away extra vinyl. Use transfer tape to stick the vinyl onto the pumpkin. For bats, apply each one separately since they aren't tiny or intricate.
