Halloween Jello Worm Cups

Directions

1. Heat 1 cup of water until it reaches a rolling boil.
2. Take the pot off the burner and stir in the lime gelatin powder. Keep whisking for about 3 minutes, making sure all the granules are fully dissolved.
3. Add 2 cups of ice to the mixture and continue whisking for 5 minutes. Any ice that hasn't melted after that time can be removed; the liquid should be starting to thicken.
4. Divide the semi-set gelatin evenly among four cups, each holding about 5.5 ounces.
5. Insert several gummy worms and a few candy eyeballs into each cup. A toothpick can help position them so they float in the middle of the gelatin.
6. Place the cups in the refrigerator to set for 30 minutes.
7. Crush the 10 OREO cookies into fine crumbs. You can do this by sealing them in a sandwich bag and rolling a rolling pin over them, or by pulsing them in a food processor.
8. Sprinkle the crushed cookies over the top of each cup, then garnish with extra gummy worms and candy eyes. Serve right away.
