These Halloween Mummy Dogs feature hot dogs wrapped in thin crescent roll strips, baked until golden, then decorated with honey and candy eyes. Pair them with a creepy ketchup-mustard spiderweb dip for a festive and tasty treat.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Set your oven to 400°F (200°C) to preheat.
  2. Open the crescent roll dough and flatten it into a rectangular shape. Using a pizza cutter or sharp knife, slice the dough into long strips about 1/4 inch wide.
  3. Wind the dough strips around each hot dog to mimic mummy bandages, then coat them with a layer of egg wash.
  4. Place the wrapped hot dogs in the oven and bake for 20 minutes. Once done, add a drizzle of honey on top and press the candy eyes into place.
  5. To create a spiderweb dip, spoon the ketchup onto a plate, swirl the mustard sauce over it in a spiral pattern, and drag a knife from the center outward to form web lines. Serve the mummy dogs with this dip.
