First, collect your ingredients: a box of Ritz crackers, a pouch of ready-made icing, and a pack of edible candy eyeballs. If you're making your own icing, get it ready and load it into a piping bag fitted with a small round tip.

For store-bought icing, read the package directions—you might need to place the pouch in hot water for one to two minutes to soften it. After preparing, attach a small round tip onto the icing pack.

Pipe the icing over a Ritz cracker in a messy zigzag pattern, moving side to side. Don't worry about neatness; just make sure there are plenty of lines.

Place a couple of candy eyeballs onto the icing, positioning them about two-thirds up the cracker. Repeat this process for each cracker until you have the desired number of mummies.
