These Halloween pizzas start with English muffins topped with sauce and cheese. Decorate them with black olive spiders and bats, green olive monster eyes, and mini pepper pumpkins. Bake until bubbly for a fun and festive treat.
Ingredients
Directions
- Preheat oven to 400°F. Place English muffin halves cut side up on a baking sheet. Spread pizza sauce over the cut sides, then top with shredded mozzarella. Bake for 8 minutes until cheese is melted.
- For monster eyes: slice green olives crosswise into rounds and remove the garlic. Cut black olives into small pieces to fit inside the green olive rounds as pupils.
- For spiders: cut black olives in half lengthwise for bodies. Then make thin lengthwise slices from the remaining olive halves to use as legs.
- For bats: cut black olives in half lengthwise. Slice some of the halves lengthwise into thin strips, then cut those strips crosswise to form ears and wings. Use a toothpick dipped in yellow mustard to draw eyes on the olive halves.
- For pumpkins: slice mini orange bell peppers crosswise into rounds and place on the pizzas. Cut thin strips to fill in the pumpkin shape. Add a small piece of micro greens or basil for the stem.
