These free printable pumpkin hats turn ordinary pumpkins into festive Halloween decor. Just cut, fold, and glue paper pieces together, add a yarn pom-pom, and you're done. Each hat features a fun fan-shaped detail and a cozy yarn trim.

- First, cut out the pumpkin hat template pieces: the main hat shape, a long paper strip for the fan, and a small circle.
- Fold the paper strip back and forth like an accordion.
- Fasten the two ends together with glue or a staple to create a circular fan.
- Place the folded circle flat on your work surface and press it down to flatten it.
- Apply glue to the small circle and press it onto the center of the flattened fan; hold it for a few seconds to secure.
- Form a cone shape by rolling the hat piece so the edges overlap, then secure with tape, a staple, or glue.
- Attach yarn around the base of the cone using glue; wrap it twice for a thicker trim.
- Glue the paper fan you made earlier onto the hat.
- Create a yarn pom-pom: wrap yarn around two fingers (or three for a fuller pom-pom) roughly 20 times. Slip the loops off your fingers and lay them onto a separate piece of yarn. Tie that yarn tightly around the center of the loops. Snip through all the loops on both sides, then fluff the strands into a ball.
- Glue the pom-pom to the tip of the hat, then place the hat onto your pumpkin.
