These healthy Halloween spider snacks are easy to assemble using string cheese, a slice of bread, and black beans. Create eight legs by cutting the cheese ends, wrap bread around the middle, add bean eyes with yogurt dots, and serve with marinara sauce for dipping.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Take a piece of string cheese and use a knife to cut each end into four strips, creating eight legs total. Keep a one-inch uncut section in the center so the spider holds together.
  2. Take the slice of bread and wrap it around the uncut middle part of the cheese.
  3. Press two black beans into the bread for eyes, using a bit of yogurt as glue if necessary. You may want to create small indentations first.
  4. With a toothpick, apply a tiny dot of yogurt to each black bean to create the eye highlights.
  5. Enjoy the spider snacks on their own, or heat some marinara sauce and use it as a dipping sauce for a pizza-inspired treat.
