Create a fun and engaging Halloween activity by setting up a table with a large spinner and a wooden board numbered 12 or more. Children pay for tickets to spin the wheel and win a variety of prizes. Each child chooses a number and stands beside it while a volunteer places a piece of candy on the chosen number. After several children have spun, the winner is determined by the number the wheel lands on. Everyone keeps their candy, and the winner gets to pick a prize from the top prizes table.
Directions
- Arrange your tables side by side with a large spinner featuring 12 or more numbers.
- Children purchase tickets (usually 2-4 tickets, roughly equivalent to $0.50-$1) to spin the wheel and win prizes.
- Children select a number from the wooden board and stand beside it; volunteers place a piece of candy on the chosen number.
- After at least six children have picked a number (ten or more for a board with fifteen spaces), the volunteer spins the wheel.
- When the wheel stops, the child standing next to the matching number wins.
- All children keep their candy, and the winner selects a prize from the top prizes table.
