Directions
- Find a simple bat illustration online or draw one yourself using basic shapes. Transfer the design onto sturdy paper, then carefully cut it out to create your pattern.
- Place the pattern on your black felt and outline it with chalk. Cut along the chalk lines, then brush away any remaining marks. If you don't have chalk, use a pen or marker to trace the shape, then flip the felt over so the lines are hidden on the back.
- Repeat the tracing and cutting process on a second sheet of felt, choosing a vibrant color like orange. This piece will serve as the backing for your bat.
- Dip the sharp ends of two toothpicks into white acrylic paint to create teeth. After the paint dries, trim the painted tips off with wire cutters.
- Trim the backs off a pair of tiny sunglasses so they sit flat. Apply a small amount of low-temperature hot glue to the center of the black felt bat and press the sunglasses into place.
