Ingredients
Directions
- Set your oven to 375°F (190°C) so it gets hot.
- In a large mixing bowl, stir together the ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, and a pinch of salt and pepper until everything is evenly mixed.
- Divide the mixture into 12 portions and shape each into a meatball of similar size.
- Take one puff pastry strip and wrap it around a meatball like a bandage, leaving small openings for the eyes. Repeat for all meatballs.
- Arrange the wrapped meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- In a small bowl, beat 1 egg with 1 tablespoon of water. Brush this egg wash over the pastry, then lightly brush with olive oil.
- Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, until the pastry turns golden brown and the meatballs are fully cooked.
- Allow them to cool for a few minutes before serving.
