Transform a classic mint chocolate chip milkshake into a Halloween masterpiece with homemade witch finger pretzels and creepy glass decorations. The treat combines a creamy shake with chocolate drizzle, whipped cream, and eerie garnishes. It's perfect for parties or a fun family activity.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. First, create the witch fingers: melt green candy melts according to package directions. Spoon the melted candy into a glass lined with a pastry bag or zip-top bag. Dip a pretzel rod into the candy to coat it, then place on parchment paper. Immediately press an almond slice onto one end for the fingernail. Let set. Repeat for all pretzels, then use a knife to score lines in the coating to form knuckles.
  2. Next, make homemade whipped cream: in a mixer bowl, combine 1 cup heavy whipping cream, 1 tablespoon granulated sugar, and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. Whip on medium-high with the whisk attachment until stiff peaks form. Transfer to a piping bag fitted with a star tip and refrigerate until needed.
  3. Decorate the glasses: mix 1 cup vanilla frosting with 3-5 drops green food coloring, aiming to match the witch fingers. Spread the green frosting around the rim of each glass, then attach eyeball sprinkles. Place the decorated glasses in the refrigerator while you prepare the milkshake.
  4. In a blender, combine 1 1/4 cups milk and 4 cups mint chocolate chip ice cream. Blend until smooth. For a thinner shake, add more milk; for a thicker shake, add more ice cream.
  5. Drizzle chocolate sauce on the inside of each decorated glass, then immediately pour in the blended milkshake.
  6. Top each shake with a swirl of whipped cream. Insert a straw and three witch fingers into the whipped cream, then sprinkle with Halloween sprinkles.
  7. Serve and enjoy!
