These mummy hot dogs are a fun and easy Halloween treat. Hot dogs are wrapped in crescent dough strips with pepper jack cheese, then baked until golden. Add mustard eyes for a cute, creepy finish.
Ingredients
Directions
- Heat your oven to 375°F. Take the crescent roll sheet and unroll it on a cutting board with the long side facing you. Slice it crosswise into strips that are 1/4 to 1/2 inch wide—you'll need 24 strips total.
- Cut each slice of pepper jack cheese into 4 long rectangles. Place one cheese rectangle under a hot dog, then wrap a dough strip around the cheese and hot dog like a bandage. Continue with two more strips, pressing the end of one strip against the start of the next. Set the wrapped hot dog cheese-side down on a parchment-lined baking sheet and spray with nonstick spray. Repeat with the remaining hot dogs.
- Bake for 12 to 14 minutes until golden brown. Let them cool for 5 minutes, then add two small dots of mustard for eyes. Serve right away.
