Directions
- Begin by cleaning the jar. Place it in the freezer for about an hour, then chip out any leftover wax. Wipe the inside with rubbing alcohol and remove exterior stickers using rubbing alcohol or Goo Gone. Let the jar dry completely.
- Spray paint the lid with brown paint (or green if you prefer a green stem). Apply several light coats, letting each coat dry for roughly 20 minutes between applications.
- Spray paint the jar with orange paint using several light coats. After finishing, allow both the jar and lid to dry for a full 24 hours before handling.
- Take the green baker's twine and wrap it around the lid about three times, then tie it into a bow.
