Our own summary of the original by Lena Abraham — the full post and photos live at delish.com.
These Pumpkin Pie Turkeys are a fun Halloween dessert that transform ordinary pie slices into adorable treats. Each pie round becomes a turkey body with a Reese's cup head, candy eyes, and a candy corn tail. A quick chill in the fridge sets the chocolate glue, making them ready to serve in just minutes.
Ingredients
Directions
- Use a small biscuit cutter to punch out rounds from the 9-inch pumpkin pie.
- With the melted chocolate as glue, attach the narrow end of a mini Reese's cup to the bottom half of a pie round. Then, affix two candy eyes and half an orange Reese's piece (for the beak) using the chocolate.
- To create the tail, use the melted chocolate to stick 5 candy corn pieces around the top half of the Reese's cup. Place in the refrigerator for at least 5 minutes to set before serving.
