This Halloween-themed pasta bake features tender pasta and marinara topped with cheese and meatballs that become creepy eyeballs with olive pupils. It's a hearty, kid-friendly meal that comes together in under an hour and will delight the whole family.

- Set the oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly coat a 9x13-inch baking dish with oil or cooking spray.
- Fill a large pot with water, add salt, and bring to a boil. Cook the pasta until firm to the bite, about 8 to 10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the drained pasta, marinara sauce, and half of the mozzarella cheese. Stir well.
- Pour the pasta mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly. Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella over the top.
- Arrange the meatballs on top of the pasta, then press a black olive slice (cut side down) into each meatball to form an eyeball.
- Place the dish in the oven and bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted, bubbly, and lightly browned.
- Remove from the oven and let it rest for 5 to 10 minutes. Garnish with fresh basil leaves if desired, then serve.
