These witch-themed Rice Krispie Treats are dipped in green candy melts, decorated with candy eyes and sprinkles for a spooky face, then topped with an Oreo and a Hershey's Kiss to form a witch's hat. The whole process takes about 30 minutes with a short chill time, making them a fun Halloween treat for kids and adults alike.
Ingredients
Directions
- Warm up the green candy melts following the directions on the package.
- Submerge a Rice Krispie Treat in the melted candy. If the coating isn't even, use a spatula to smooth it out. Save the leftover melted candy melts for later steps.
- Attach two candy eyeballs and use chocolate jimmies and green nonpareils to create hair and a mouth. Dot on a few extra green nonpareils for cute warts. Chill in the refrigerator for 15 minutes until the coating sets.
- While the treats are cooling, twist apart 8 Oreos and scrape off the cream filling from each half.
- Spoon the remaining melted candy into a sandwich bag and snip off a tiny corner. Pipe a dime-sized blob onto the Oreo logo side, then press a Hershey's Kiss onto the blob.
- Pipe a thin line of candy onto the top of the Rice Krispie Treat and gently place the Oreo hat on top. Let it dry completely before serving.
