This recipe turns 24 miniature Reese's cups and 12 Oreo Thins into charming bat-shaped snacks. By separating the cookies, removing their filling, and snapping them in half, you create the wings. A bit of chocolate frosting acts as glue to attach the cookie halves to the candy cups and secure 48 candy eyeballs as eyes, resulting in a festive and delicious Halloween treat.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Peel away the foil wrapping from each of the 24 miniature Reese's cups.
  2. Carefully separate the 12 Oreo Thins into individual wafers. Scrape away the cream filling from each wafer and toss it. Then, snap each wafer in half by hand to create 48 pieces.
  3. Apply a small amount of chocolate frosting to one corner of each cookie half. Press the frosted corner onto the top of a Reese's cup so that the rounded edges face outward and the frosted points meet in the middle, forming the bat's wings.
  4. Add a tiny dot of frosting to the back of each candy eyeball and press them into the inner corners where the cookie wings meet the Reese's cup. Your spooky treats are ready to enjoy!
