These baked monster donuts are a fun and festive Halloween treat that's simple to prepare. With a sweet glaze, colorful sprinkles, and candy eyeballs, they're perfect for parties or spooky gatherings.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Start by heating your oven to 350°F. Grab a donut pan and coat it lightly with nonstick spray, then set it aside.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the 3 eggs and 1 cup of sugar for about 2 to 3 minutes until the mixture turns a lighter shade. Pour in the ⅔ cup of milk and ⅔ cup of vegetable oil, stirring until everything is smooth.
  3. In another bowl, combine the dry ingredients: 2 ¼ cups of flour, 2 teaspoons of baking powder, 2 teaspoons of cinnamon, 2 teaspoons of vanilla, and ¼ teaspoon of salt. Whisk them together until well blended.
  4. Pour the dry mixture into the wet ingredients and stir until just combined.
  5. Scoop the batter into a piping bag. Squeeze the batter into each donut cavity, filling them about ¾ of the way. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes.
  6. While the donuts bake, make the glaze by whisking together 1 cup of powdered sugar, 3 tablespoons of water, and 1 teaspoon of orange food coloring.
  7. Once the donuts are baked and cooled, take them out of the pan. Flip them over and dip the tops into the orange glaze. Sprinkle with 6 tablespoons of Halloween Jimmies and add ½ cup of eye candies to complete the monster look.
