Directions
- Make the Tail: Trace the tail pattern onto gray faux fur and cut it out. Use hot glue to secure the long edges together, leaving an opening at one end. Stuff the tail with polyester fiberfill. Glue the tail opening closed. When ready, use a safety pin to pin the tail to a pair of gray sweatpants.
- Make the Paws: Start with a pair of fuzzy gray gloves. Cut 10 small triangles from white cardstock and hot glue them to the end of each glove finger to form claws.
- Prep the Head Pieces: Trace the head pieces from templates onto cardboard: one each of head side one, head side two, back of head, and snout, plus two ears. Cut out. Paint all cardboard pieces gray and let dry. Paint a large almond-shaped white eye on each head side and add a black dot. Cut large triangles for teeth from white cardstock and hot glue to bottom edge of each head side. Add short white lines on snout for fur. Paint a small piece of cardboard black for nose and glue to end of snout. Let dry completely.
- Assemble the Wolf’s Head: Hot glue the head side pieces to the head back piece, then glue the snout, gently bending to fit. Cut a slit in each ear as indicated, overlap edges and glue to cup shape. Hot glue ears to head. Cut small pieces of faux fur and glue inside ears. Adjust width of back piece so head sits securely.
