You'll need
Directions
- Collect everything you'll need: Aida cloth, embroidery floss in orange, green, and brown, a pumpkin cross stitch pattern, an embroidery hoop, a tapestry needle, and scissors.
- Cut your Aida cloth to size, leaving an extra border around the pattern area. Place the fabric in the embroidery hoop and tighten it until the cloth is taut.
- Use your cross stitch pattern as a guide and stitch the pumpkin design, switching floss colors as needed and using basic cross stitch techniques.
- When you finish stitching, take the fabric out of the hoop and snip away any extra fabric. If you like, you can frame it or finish the edges to display your work.
