DIY Halloween Backdrop
Create a spooky DIY Halloween backdrop with just white streamers, mounting strips, and paper spiders.
Our own summary of the original — the full post and photos live at playpartyplan.com.
This easy Halloween backdrop uses white streamers and adhesive strips to build a spiderweb pattern on the wall. Start by anchoring seven streamers radiating from a center, then connect them with shorter pieces to form the web. Finish by attaching paper spiders with extra strips for a creepy effect.
You'll need
Directions
- Fix a clear adhesive strip onto the end of a white streamer (be sure to follow the package directions), then press that end firmly onto your wall.
- Cut a single streamer so it reaches toward the center point of your web, and secure the opposite end with another mounting strip at that central spot.
- Repeat the process, attaching seven separate streamers that all radiate out from the same central point to form the web's base structure.
- Connect the radiating strips by attaching short pieces of streamer between them, creating a classic spiderweb pattern of concentric lines.
- Place small decorative spiders onto the web using any leftover adhesive strips to hold them in place.
