DIY Halloween Skull Decor
Turn a plain jar and plastic skull into a hauntingly glowing Halloween decoration with this simple DIY.

This DIY project creates a spooky skull decoration using an apothecary jar, plastic skull, paint, stencil tape, stone granules, and an LED candle. You'll paint the skull for a weathered look, decorate the jar handle with tape, and assemble everything inside the jar for a creepy, illuminated centerpiece.

- Begin by giving the skull a ghostly appearance. Apply a full coat of black paint over the entire skull using a paintbrush.
- While the paint is still wet, use paper towels to wipe off most of it. Adjust how much you remove to achieve your desired eerie look.
- For the jar handle decoration, wrap 1/4-inch stencil tape around the knob.
- Apply multi-surface paint over the tape, then immediately peel off the stencil tape and allow the paint to dry.
- Fill the bottom of the jar with stone granules. Insert the LED votive candle into the skull, set the skull inside the jar, and replace the lid.
