This project transforms plain pumpkins into beautiful decoupaged decor using tissue paper and Mod Podge. Cut tissue paper into squares, apply with Mod Podge, and optionally decorate the stem with washi tape. It's a simple, affordable craft that yields impressive results.

You'll need

Pumpkins (really any kind of material would work if you can’t find the styrofoam ones)

Mod Podge

Paint or foam brush

Tissue Paper

Scissors

Twine and washi tape for extra decoration (optional)

Directions

Cut the tissue paper into one-inch squares or rectangles; perfect shapes aren't necessary.

Use your brush to apply Mod Podge to a small section of the pumpkin, then press a tissue paper piece onto it. Brush another layer of Mod Podge over the top and repeat this process until you've covered the entire pumpkin. Allow it to dry completely.

For added decoration, you can cover the stem of an orange pumpkin with washi tape, while a green pumpkin can be left with its natural stem.
