These easy monster cookie bars are packed with peanut butter, chocolate chunks, and M&M's. They bake up quickly and can be decorated with googly eyes for a spooky touch. Perfect for Halloween parties or a simple sweet fix.

- Set your oven to 180ºC (350ºF) and prepare a square baking pan by lining it with parchment paper.
- Combine the peanut butter, softened butter, and brown sugar, beating until the mixture becomes light and fluffy. Then add the vanilla extract and eggs and continue beating.
- Gradually add the flour, one cup at a time, along with the baking powder and salt, mixing thoroughly after each addition.
- Gently fold in the chocolate chunks and M&M's until evenly distributed, then press the dough evenly into the prepared baking pan.
- If desired, sprinkle extra M&M's and add edible googly eyes on top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a skewer inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Take the pan out of the oven and let it cool entirely, then slice and serve.
