Transform pretzel rods into monstrous fingers with a dark green chocolate coating and almond sliver 'nails' or candy eyes. Perfect for Halloween parties, these treats are quick to make with just a few ingredients.
Ingredients
Directions
- Prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper. In a microwave-safe bowl, heat the white chocolate chips on high power, stirring every 30 seconds, until fully melted (about 2 to 2 1/2 minutes total). If you want a dark green color, stir in 3 drops each of red and green food coloring.
- Transfer the melted chocolate into a tall drinking glass. Dip each pretzel rod into the chocolate, twirling to coat about two-thirds of the rod, leaving the bottom end bare for handling. Gently shake off excess chocolate and place the coated pretzel on the prepared baking sheet. Immediately attach an almond sliver or a candy eye to the dipped tip to create a fingernail or monster eye effect.
