Directions

  1. Find an empty tissue box, shoe box, or small cardboard box.
  2. Cover the boxes with construction paper (orange, black, purple) or other fun stickers to give them a Halloween theme, such as drawing spiders or making a witch face.
  3. Fill each box with different spooky items for kids to guess, such as peeled grapes (witches eyes), cooked spaghetti (zombie brains), plastic spider rings, cut up balloons (dry skin), candy corn (monster teeth), pipe cleaners (spider legs), water beads (monster eyeballs), banana peels with olive oil (witch's tongue), or popcorn kernels (rat droppings).
  4. Place a label in front of each box with the spooky name of the contents (e.g., 'Witches' Eyes', 'Monster Teeth') and let kids reach inside to guess what they are feeling.
