These ghostly Twinkies are a fun and simple Halloween dessert. You'll dip store-bought Twinkie halves in melted white chocolate, then add sprinkle eyes for a cute spooky look. Perfect for parties or trick-or-treat snacks.
Ingredients
Directions
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Slice each Twinkie in half across the middle, then place them cut-side down on the prepared sheet.
- Melt the white chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl at 30-second intervals, stirring thoroughly between each, or use a double boiler. Stir very frequently.
- Spoon a small amount of melted chocolate into the open cut of each Twinkie half, then press it down onto the parchment. Use a spoon to pour more thinned chocolate over the Twinkie, and spread it with an icing knife to coat the sides evenly.
- Allow the coated Twinkies to cool completely, then repeat the coating process once more. Let them cool again.
- Attach round sprinkle eyes to each ghost using a tiny dab of icing as adhesive.
