These Ghostly Apple Bites are a quick, no-bake Halloween treat. Simply dip dried apple rings in melted white chocolate, add candy eyeballs, and chill until set. The combination of sweet apple and creamy chocolate makes a fun, healthy-ish snack for parties.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Prepare a baking sheet or tray by covering it with parchment or wax paper. Make sure your tray actually fits inside your refrigerator before you start.
  2. Chop the white chocolate into small pieces and put them in a microwave-safe bowl.
  3. Heat the chocolate in the microwave using 30-second intervals, stirring after each burst so it melts uniformly. Stop heating as soon as the chocolate is completely smooth and melted to avoid scorching.
  4. Act quickly: dip half of each dried apple ring into the melted white chocolate, covering just one side.
  5. Set each coated ring on the lined tray, and continue until you've dipped as many apple rings as you'd like.
  6. After all the apple rings are coated, press two candy eyeballs onto the chocolate-covered portion of each ring.
  7. Place the entire tray in the refrigerator for 10 to 15 minutes, until the chocolate has fully hardened.
  8. Gently remove each ghostly apple bite from the paper and serve right away on a plate or platter.
