Directions
- Optionally, carve a hole in the pumpkin's bottom and drill side holes so you can place a votive inside for a glowing effect at night.
- Using your hands, scoop grout from the container and smear it all over the pumpkin until every bit is coated.
- Work the grout to create as even a surface as possible.
- If the grout feels too thick, mix a little water into the portion in your hands to make it smoother and easier to spread.
- Let the grout set for a full day until it is completely dry.
- Apply stripes using 3-D paint or glue—try vertical lines on one pumpkin and horizontal lines on a second.
- For a third pumpkin, coat the entire surface with glue and then shower it with glitter.
- Before the glue dries, sprinkle glitter over the lines or glued areas. Place paper underneath to catch extra glitter for reuse.
