These Halloween fruit snacks are easy to make and perfect for parties. Use bananas, apples, grapes, strawberries, and pears as bases, then add eyes and smiles with chocolate and marshmallows. Each fruit becomes a fun, edible monster that kids will love.
Ingredients
Directions
- Cut two bananas in half crosswise. Press a mini chocolate chip onto each half for eyes and a big chocolate chip below for a mouth.
- Slice one apple into quarters. Carefully carve a small slit into the cut side of each quarter without cutting through. Insert mini marshmallows into the slit as teeth, then use a dab of melted white chocolate to attach googly eyes above.
- Cut grapes in half. Gently press googly eyes onto the cut side of each grape half; the moisture will help them stick.
- Rinse and pat dry six strawberries. Drizzle melted white chocolate over the top of each strawberry, then place googly eyes into the chocolate before it sets.
- Wash and dry two pears. Scoop out a small amount of flesh from each pear to create a shallow cavity. Use melted white chocolate to glue googly eyes into the cavity.
