- Assemble your ingredients: a box of Ritz crackers, a pouch of decorating icing, and a pack of edible candy eyes.
- If you're using your own icing, prepare it and fill a piping bag fitted with a small round tip. For store-bought icing, follow the package directions—often you need to submerge the pouch in hot water for a minute or two to soften it, then attach a small round tip.
- Pipe icing onto a Ritz cracker in a back-and-forth zigzag pattern. Don't worry about neatness; the messier the lines, the more mummy-like it looks.
- Press two candy eyeballs into the icing about two-thirds of the way up the cracker. Repeat with the remaining crackers until you have as many mummies as you want.
- Let the mummies sit at room temperature until the icing hardens completely.
