You'll need
Directions
- Begin by cutting your fabric into strips measuring 6.25 inches across the top and 11 inches down the length of the pennant. For a set of two pennants (front and back) per fabric, cut four pieces from each type.
- Take each pair of pennant pieces and place them with the right sides together. Sew along both long edges, but leave the top edge open.
- Turn the sewn pennants right side out. You can use a pen or a dowel to push the tip through.
- Press the pennants flat with an iron so they maintain their shape.
- If desired, add a decorative zig zag stitch along the edges.
- Attach the pennants to the cording by sewing them on, folding the fabric over the cording where the ends meet to make it extra sturdy.
