Ingredients
Directions
- In a large pot set over medium-low heat, melt 3 tablespoons of butter. Then add all 10 ounces of mini marshmallows, stirring without stopping until fully melted.
- Mix in 4 to 6 drops of orange food coloring and stir until the color is even.
- Take the pot off the heat and immediately stir in 4 cups of Rice Krispies cereal. Keep mixing until every piece is coated with the marshmallow mixture.
- If the color isn't vibrant enough, you can add a few more drops of food coloring now.
- Coat your hands with cooking spray. Portion the mixture into 6 equal parts and shape each into a pumpkin-like ball. Set them in a dish and let cool entirely.
- With a small paring knife, cut a small circle on top of each ball. Insert one Rolo chocolate piece into each indentation, then press the mixture back into a pumpkin shape.
- Finally, use green icing to pipe a few small leaf shapes next to the candy on each treat. Serve immediately.
- Keep any leftover treats in an airtight container at room temperature; they will stay fresh for up to 3 days. No refrigeration needed.
