These Halloween Snickers Mummy Treats combine fun-size candy bars with crescent roll dough to create cute, bandage-wrapped desserts. After baking until golden, they're dusted with powdered sugar and topped with candy eyes for a spooky snack that's perfect for parties.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Heat your oven to 400°F.
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set it aside.
  3. Open the crescent roll can, unroll the dough, and separate it into triangles. Gently stretch each triangle to make it a bit larger.
  4. Place one Snickers bar vertically on each triangle, about an inch below the short flat side of the dough.
  5. Cut off the long pointed tip of each triangle about an inch below the bottom of the Snickers. Set these extra dough pieces aside.
  6. Cut horizontal strips into the dough on both sides of the Snickers.
  7. Fold the top flap of dough up over the Snickers, then wrap the long strips around the sides, pressing gently to seal. Repeat with the bottom flap. Use the remaining strips to crisscross over the candy, tucking excess dough underneath. Leave a small opening near the top for the eyes after baking.
  8. Take the reserved pointy dough pieces, cut them into thin strips, and add these extra bandages to each mummy.
  9. Place the mummies a couple inches apart on the prepared baking sheet.
  10. Bake for about 10 minutes, until the tops are lightly golden.
  11. Remove from the oven and let cool for a couple minutes.
  12. Dust with powdered sugar and press on the candy eyeballs.
  13. Enjoy warm for the best taste, or at room temperature.
