This Halloween spaghetti recipe uses black food coloring to transform ordinary pasta into a creepy dish. Just add the coloring to the boiling water along with salt, then cook the spaghetti as usual. Serve with your favorite sauce or as a standalone visual treat.

- Fill a large pot with 4 quarts of water, then stir in 1/2 teaspoon of black food coloring and 1 teaspoon of salt.
- Heat the pot over high heat until the water reaches a rolling boil.
- Add the entire box of spaghetti and let the water come back to a boil.
- Cook the spaghetti uncovered for about 10 to 12 minutes, stirring from time to time, until it's tender. Be careful not to overdo it.
- Take the pot off the stove and pour the spaghetti into a colander to drain.
