These spooky spider deviled eggs are a fun and easy Halloween appetizer. Hard-boiled eggs are filled with a creamy yolk mixture and topped with olive halves for bodies and sliced olive legs. They’re creepy, cute, and sure to be a hit at any Halloween party.
Ingredients
Directions
- Take each hard-boiled egg and cut it lengthwise into two halves. Carefully remove the yolks and place them in a bowl, then mash them with a fork.
- Add the mayonnaise, ground mustard, salt, and pepper to the mashed yolks. Stir everything together until smooth and well combined.
- Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture back into the hollowed egg white halves, filling them evenly.
- For each deviled egg half, take one whole black olive and cut it in half crosswise.
- Place one of the olive halves onto the yolk mixture, flat side down, to form the spider's body.
- Thinly slice the remaining olive half into small strips. Arrange four strips on each side of the olive body to create the spider's legs.
