These Halloween stuffed roaches are a fun, spooky appetizer made by filling pitted dates with a creamy walnut and cream cheese mixture. The dates are sliced and stuffed to resemble roaches, then served chilled. They're perfect for parties and sure to surprise your guests.

- In a small bowl, stir the softened cream cheese and finely chopped walnuts until thoroughly combined.
- With a small sharp knife, cut a slit along one side of each date, being careful not to cut through to the other side. Gently fill each date with the cream cheese mixture using a spoon or piping bag, then press the sides together to close.
- Serve right away, or cover and chill in the refrigerator until you're ready to serve.
