These Halloween Banana Pops are a fun, no-bake treat that kids love to help make. Frozen banana halves are coated in orange melting candy and topped with festive sprinkles, then frozen until firm. Serve them straight from the freezer for a chilly, crunchy snack.

You'll need

Directions

  1. Peel the bananas and pull off any stringy bits. Slice each banana in half crosswise.
  2. Gently push a popsicle stick into the cut end of each banana half, going about 1/4 to 1/3 of the way in, being careful not to split the banana.
  3. Set the banana pops on a parchment-lined baking sheet and freeze for at least 1 hour.
  4. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the orange melting candies following the package directions.
  5. Using a spoon, fork, or spatula, spread the melted candy over a frozen banana pop. Work quickly because the candy sets fast.
  6. Immediately sprinkle with your chosen sprinkles. Coat only one banana pop at a time.
  7. Return the decorated banana pops to the parchment-lined sheet and freeze for about 20 minutes, until the coating is fully firm.
  8. Keep the banana pops frozen until you're ready to serve them.
