Ingredients
Directions
- Set your oven to 375°F (190°C) to preheat.
- In a big bowl, mix the ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, salt, and pepper until they are just blended.
- Take a small portion of the meat mixture and flatten it in your hand. Place a string cheese strip in the center, then wrap the meat around it to shape into a ball.
- Do this with all the meat and cheese, making roughly 16 meatballs.
- Arrange the meatballs on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Lightly drizzle each meatball with olive oil.
- Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, until the meatballs are fully cooked and have a bit of browning.
- Take the meatballs out of the oven and allow them to cool for 5 minutes.
- Drizzle marinara sauce over the meatballs to create a mummy-wrap look.
- Serve the meatballs while they are still warm.
