These monster peanut butter balls are a fun and easy Halloween treat. Made with only butter, peanut butter, green food coloring, icing sugar, and candy eyeballs, they come together quickly. After chilling for 15 minutes, they're ready to delight kids and adults alike.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Gently warm the 60 g of butter until it's just liquefied. You can do this in a small pot on the stove or in the microwave.
  2. Place 175 g of SKIPPY® Peanut Butter Smooth into a large mixing bowl, then pour the melted butter over it.
  3. Whisk the butter and peanut butter together until they're smooth and fully incorporated. Add a few drops of green gel food coloring and whisk again until the color is uniform throughout.
  4. Add 275 g of icing sugar and whisk until it's completely mixed in. The mixture will look like breadcrumbs, so use clean hands to press it together into a dough.
  5. Line a small baking tray or plate with parchment paper or wax paper.
  6. Pinch off pieces of dough and roll them into balls about the size of a walnut. Set each ball on the lined tray.
  7. Press edible candy eyeballs into the top of each ball. To make different monster faces, use various sizes and quantities of eyes, ranging from one to three per monster.
  8. Refrigerate the peanut butter monsters for at least 15 minutes before serving.
