This easy craft transforms mason jars into spooky lanterns. Paint them with glow-in-the-dark paint, add bat silhouettes, and light them up for a haunting glow that's perfect for Halloween decor.

- Start with a clean mason jar; remove any labels and wash it thoroughly.
- Apply a coat of glow-in-the-dark paint to the outside of the jar, covering it evenly. Let it dry completely.
- Cut bat shapes out of black construction paper. You can draw the bats freehand or use a template.
- Use Mod Podge to attach the paper bats to the painted jar. Press them down and smooth out any bubbles.
- Place a tea light candle inside the jar. For safety, use a battery-operated tea light if you plan to display it near anything flammable.
