These Not-So-Naughty Jack Frosties are a refreshing Halloween beverage made with lemon sorbet, blue sports drink, and ice, blended until smooth. The glasses are rimmed with lemon juice and white sanding sugar for a festive touch. For a thicker treat, you can freeze the mixture up to a month ahead.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Use the cut half of the lemon to moisten the rims of four drinking glasses. Place white sanding sugar on a small plate, then dip the wet rims into the sugar to coat. Squeeze the lemon juice into a blender; you'll get about 2 to 3 tablespoons.
  2. Pour the cold blue sports drink, lemon sorbet, and ice cubes into the blender. Pulse the mixture, adding extra ice if necessary, until it becomes smooth and thick.
  3. Pour the blended mixture equally into the four sugar-rimmed glasses. Finish each glass with a splash of cold lemon or pineapple seltzer.
  4. To prepare in advance or achieve a thicker texture, you can freeze the blended drink for up to one month. When ready to serve, stir or give it a quick blend before pouring into glasses.
