Ingredients
Directions
- In a bowl, stir together the melted butter, creamy peanut butter, and powdered sugar until fully combined. Using your hands works best; the mixture should have a stiff, play-dough-like texture.
- Prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper.
- Scoop slightly rounded tablespoons of the peanut butter dough, roll each into a ball, and place on the lined sheet.
- Refrigerate the peanut butter balls for about 15 minutes until they are chilled.
- While they chill, melt the chocolate. Put it in a microwave-safe bowl and heat in 30-second bursts, stirring well after each interval.
- Once the balls are firm and the chocolate is smooth, pour the melted chocolate into a small cup or jar. Use a toothpick to dip each ball into the chocolate, but do not submerge it fully—leave a small circle at the top uncovered.
- Return each coated ball to the parchment-lined sheet. Repeat for all balls.
- Add a tiny dab of melted chocolate onto the back of a candy eyeball, then press it onto the top of each peanut butter ball.
- Let the eyeballs set completely, either at room temperature or in the refrigerator.
