Pumpkin Bowling {Halloween Party Game}
Turn your Halloween party into a spooky sport with this DIY pumpkin bowling game!
Our own summary of the original — the full post and photos live at kidfriendlythingstodo.com.
This Halloween party game transforms empty water bottles into ghostly pins and a small pumpkin into a bowling ball. Guests paint bottles white, add googly eyes and ghost mouths, then roll the pumpkin to knock them down in a classic V formation.
You'll need
Directions
- Pour a small amount of dry beans, rice, sand, or popcorn kernels into each water bottle—just enough so they stand upright without being too heavy to knock over. Screw the caps on tightly; you can tape or glue the caps to prevent spills.
- Spray paint the bottles white and allow them to dry completely.
- Attach googly eyes to the bottles, then draw spooky mouths using puff paint or a black Sharpie.
- For the bowling ball, decorate the pie pumpkin with a Jack-O'-Lantern face using black puff paint. Set the pumpkin on a cup or small bowl to dry.
- When you're ready to play, arrange the ghost bottles in a V formation and roll the orange pumpkin to knock them down.
