Ingredients
Directions
- Set your oven to 350°F. Line a 9x9-inch baking pan with parchment paper and put it aside.
- In a medium bowl, stir together the brownie mix, eggs, and water (or milk, if you prefer) until just combined.
- Mix in 1 to 2 drops of black gel food coloring until the batter is uniformly dark.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and gently tap the pan on the counter a couple of times to level it.
- Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs. Remove and let cool slightly.
- Put the marshmallows (8-10 regular or 14-15 mini) and 3-4 tablespoons of water in a large microwave-safe bowl. Microwave in 10-second bursts, stirring after each burst, until the marshmallows are melted and smooth. Be careful not to overheat or they'll turn into caramel.
- Take a small amount of the melted marshmallow with your fingers and stretch it out into thin strands to create a web-like shape.
- Lay the marshmallow web on top of the brownies and add candy eyes for an extra creepy touch.
- Slice the brownies into squares and serve.
