You'll need
Directions
- Dye the lace doilies with grey fabric dye according to the package instructions to give them a more spooky appearance.
- Paint a thrifted embroidery hoop black using acrylic or spray paint.
- Insert the dyed lace doily into the hoop and tighten the rings so the doily is stretched taut.
- Trim away any excess doily material and seal the cut edges with fabric glue or fray stop glue.
- Attach fake spiders to the web for decoration.
- Optionally, form a stick figure from a white pipe cleaner, wrap it with medical tape to resemble a mummy, and hot glue it to the center of the web.
- For extra spookiness, use grey thread to hang a fake spider from the embroidery hoop through one of the openings in the doily.
